How long have you been selling used panties for?
I have been selling my panties for a little under 2 months, so I’m rather new to panty selling and sex work in general!
How did you find out about it?
I found out about panty selling from a podcast where someone was debating whether or not to reveal to their partner that they sold their panties online.
Where do you sell?
I sell primarily on Scented Pansy but I have Instagram, Twitter, and Only Fans.
How many hours per day do you spend selling?
I don’t have a clear or consistent number of hours I spend on these sites, because it varies from day to day and I’m on my phone constantly thought the day! Referencing the screen and app times on my iPhone I would say I spend an average of four hours a day selling. I spend another six to eight hours a week taking pictures, filming content, and editing.
Why did you decide to sell panties online?
Like most other sellers, I started to sell my panties online for the extra income. I’m also a full-time student in a rigorous major, so I wanted something that I could do on my own time. Panty selling is perfect for this since I work from my phone whenever I want!
Do you sell additional items or just panties?
Yes! I sell videos, pictures, custom content, pantyhose, socks, and sexting.
What do you enjoy about panty selling?
I love that it’s on my terms! What I decide to show/do, who I decide to work with, what I price my items at, the amount of time I work, all of it is completely on my terms. I also just enjoy selling my body! I love taking pictures of myself, hearing that a customer enjoyed my panties or content, and getting compliments on my body. It’s freeing, fun, and empowering to me!
What is challenging or difficult about panty selling?
The biggest difficulty has dealing with disrespectful buyers. All the buyers I have work with have been lovely and I’ve spoken to many wonderful people within the sex work community (buyers and sellers). With that being said, I have also interacted with people within this community who have been disrespectful and degrading. I think some people believe that sex workers can be spoken to and treated like objects. The second challenge has been questioned if I’m good at or cut out for sex work.
What’s your advice to someone just starting out?
Do your research, don’t be afraid to try new things, and interact with buyers and other sellers.
What, in your opinion, does it take to be a successful panty seller?
Patience, a thick skin, and being open-minded.
Do your friends/family know about what you do?
My family doesn’t know about this aspect of my life, but I have told most of my friends.
How long do you think you will do this for?
I don’t know how long I’ll be doing this for! I’ll stop when it’s no longer enjoyable for me, if my priorities change, or if it begins to negatively affect other parts of my life. If I was in a committed relationship or it intervened with my larger career goals, then I would quit sex work.
