How long have you been selling used panties?
I’ve been selling for about 14months now.
How did you find out about it?
I’m sure I heard about the possibility of it being another potential source of income just on the grapevine, a friend of mine mentioned it as a funny thing that people do now, that sort of thing. When I thought of it in a different light as a route I could go down, that’s when I started investigating & found your superb podcast, Dalma!
Where do you sell?
I’ve been on a few platforms now. Primarily I sell on All Things Worn, but I also have profiles on PantyDeal, Kinkie, IWantClips and Twitter – mostly due to my own nosiness & FOMO, although admittedly I do not use these to the best of their potential. It’s a lot to manage! I am present on all of the above, some more than others. May change in the next few months.
How many hours per day do you spend selling?
This completely depends on my ‘normal job‘ workload. It can vary from day to day, month to month. It’s an interesting question, as ‘selling’ can also be just conversation & relationship building in panty-selling world. I tend to have bursts of heavy growth-focussed pro-activity, then times where I’m keeping it on the QT, speaking with my lovely regulars only.
Why did you decide to sell panties online?
I’ve always had a big exhibitionist side, and that came out very strongly in a sort of sexual reawakening I went through in 2020. (Side note; a very frustrating year to be on a journey of sexual rediscovery). I decided it was essential for my future sexual happiness to be honest with myself about what I enjoy and to be free & open-minded in my pursuit.
I like new experiences and I’ve always had a flirty relationship with anything taboo, so this new world very much appealed to me and I thought I could be rather good at it. I’m a kinky gal at heart and love learning about what floats people’s boats. Marry that with the thought of someone thoroughly enjoying something I’ve created, and you have a happy lady in me.
In short, I enjoy the minds of men and I enjoy them enjoying me.
Do you sell additional items or just panties?
I actually sell far more digital / experience content than I do panties. Some of the panties in my store have been chilling on my profile for quite some time while I make & push other content!
I’ve been very lucky in that early-on I put my focus on building trusting and niche relationships, and now have some wonderful regulars that I deal with consistently who keep me fulfilled with good variety. A good proportion of my worn items are bought for me to wear by buyers specifically for them to receive and don’t get uploaded to the selling platforms I use.
I’ve tried a few different things within my personal boundaries, and particularly enjoy audios, feet/nylon content, femdom custom content, video and high quality photo sets, of a vintage theme.
What do you enjoy about panty selling?
I love the feeling when you give the buyer exactly what they are looking for, and more. I love that it’s a secret, spicy thing I do that I’m good at. Speaking to lots of different people and learning about new things is fab, and also getting deep into what someone really -really- desires. Truly understanding and delivering the top-tier experience my buyer wants is absolutely ‘it’ for me.
What is challenging or difficult about panty selling?
Many things! You’ll get timewasters and scammers, some of whom are extremely clever and can almost fool even the most experienced of sellers. There is a certain degree of upfront cost to starting as a seller that I don’t think many expect, and the time & work required is real. It is not a ‘sell feet pics and make a £1000 a day’ situation. It’s a work hard, put in the time and gain experience situation.
For me personally, it’s time – I’d love to be able to have more time to spend on this awesome venture.
What’s your advice to someone just starting out?
Do not underestimate the ground work. Your security is paramount and ‘jumping in at the deep end’ or learning-as-you-go is a really risky way to start out with this type of work. In fact, a lot of scammers rely on sellers who come in without doing much research and you leave yourself wide open to be taken advantage of, sadly.
Do your research, speak to and learn from established sellers, set boundaries and be strict with what you want to do or not do. Have fun and be yourself! I’ve found having a very healthy scepticism has been beneficial too. If there was one piece of advice I’d give it’d be that your safety and security comes first, so get very savvy on that before jumping on in.
What, in your opinion, does it take to be a successful seller?
Understanding your customer, understanding yourself.
How much (on average) do you/have you made per week/month?
Aha, the question every new or potential seller wants an answer to! I wish I could give a consistent number. It varies wildly for me. What I will say, is that there’s always been a direct correlation between the time I can afford to put in and the monetary outcome I get.
If I’m swamped at my muggle job and don’t touch the sites, the numbers drop. If I make tonnes of new content, have creative ideas, a good mindset to pursue new & existing leads, then for sure there will be a bounce-back to good numbers.
There are times where there seems like there’s no rhyme or reason to the market, but mostly I can rely on the premise that I’ll get out what I put in.
Do your friends/family know about what you do?
Oh my friends definitely do! You can’t shut me up about it! I’m so proud of these amazing ideas and photos and ads I’ve found myself creating, I want to tell everybody & all the new people I meet! I don’t, of course, but plenty of my friends know about and indulge in my spicy world by-proxy. My family & work, however, absolutely not an option and must stay completely separate. I’m a no-face seller which has made this easier.
How long do you think you will do this for?
As long as I want to and as long as they’ll let me haha. Don’t see an end in sight right now as it is far, far too much fun! 😉💋
