I want to help you make as much money as possible but I also want you to have a firm grasp of reality when it comes to selling your used panties online.
So how come you’re not selling?
There are many different reasons, which we’ll cover over the next few blog posts.
But today?
How about unrealistic expectations?
Let’s get real for a moment, shall we? When you first signed up to this work you probably had no idea just how much you could make, right? I mean, perhaps you read a ridiculous blog article online about sellers making $500 (or more) on one pair of panties (spoiler: probably written and sent viral by those who profit from you signing up to a selling platform). Or perhaps a friend told you about how much she was making and you got curious?
For me, I had no idea what my potential earning income could be. I didn’t even know what to charge!!
Completely novice and oblivious.
I wrote before about my belief in what was possible for me certainly changing in line with certain days where income easily hit three figures. The truth is that it takes time to get an ACCURATE idea of what income is for you and that is based on how much time, effort and energy you put into it. As well as what you are willing (and not willing) to make money from.
Also, let’s not forget that there can be different phenomena at play. Phenomena feels like a heady word to use but run with it for now.
There is such a thing as ‘beginner’s luck’. It’s true that the ‘new girl’ will get some attention and potentially be blown away by the number of sales early on. This is all good and well and could continue for a while but may start to calm down once the novelty has worn off a bit for regular buyers. It’s certainly something that sellers I have spoken to are familiar with and it may happen to you too.
Timing. Holidays and pay days are a thing. You will start to notice some weeks are quieter than others. Summer holidays and Christmas holidays can be very quiet – understandably so. Be patient in these quiet periods.
Networking. Unfortunately there is such a thing as ‘who you know’ in this field. If you become friendly with people who know people that run a KIK group for example, you can find yourself with another three avenues of income over a few days by being added to groups. For this reason it pays to be just a decent, nice person who supports and collaborates with other sellers. I don’t mean this from a disingenuous way. I mean, genuinely care about other sellers and who knows where that may lead further down the line.
So there we have just a few examples of things that can affect the ebb and flow of your income. Some things you literally have no control over. All you can do is continue to show up and do the work.
For those reasons and more, every seller’s earning potential is different and you shouldn’t get attached to anyone else’s income or even your own for that matter.
And I want to help you out right now by telling you that nobody is out there slaying it making LOADS of money every minute of every day.
YES, sellers are making good money on good days.
But they also have quiet times. And if they don’t, they will. It’s up and down for all of us and I KNOW from first-hand experience that it’s easy to sit there and think everyone else is selling – especially if they tell you they are – and you aren’t. You are the only one not selling… JUST.NOT.TRUE.
I haven’t made a sale in over a week now and I know most of that is down to me putting ZERO fucking effort into it as I’ve moved home and have family commitments over the holidays.
And sure, I get a bit down when I see that others are slaying when I’m not. That’s normal.
But you can’t let that shit get in the way of your selling and your sales.
it is what it is and that’s all it is.
No additional story or drama required.
And also, there’s a chance that some sellers are exaggerating just how amazing it all is.
So please, don’t let the hype get to you. Just do you and pay attention to your own actions and outcomes. That’s where the power is.
