When it comes to selling your underwear online, there’s some good news.
The good news is that you don’t have to blame all the stuff outside of you when it comes to whether or not you make it in this industry.
It’s easy to blame those things.
It’s easy to blame the time wasters.
It’s easy to blame the industry and how it’s all going down the pan.
It’s easy to blame the new sellers who undercut your pricing.
It’s easy to blame the time of the month or year.
When you can put whether you succeed or not on the shoulders of all of those things (and more) it’s easy to shirk the responsibility for your outcomes.
But wait, how much of the above can you control?
Hmm, I’m going out on a limb here to say none of it.
Zero.
You will not change any of the above factors. No matter how much you try or how hard you fight or moan against it.
It is what it is and it will ALWAYS be there.
You know what’s hard? Looking at yourself being the reason as to whether you make it or not.
Because all of the reasons you can come up with or you’ve heard from other panty sellers, that stuff has always been there.
All those things have always been there.
But yet, women are selling. (Hopefully you are selling.)
What you can control, what you can only every control, is you.
You can control how much time you put in.
How much energy.
How you show up each day.
Your mood.
Your attitude.
Your skills.
Your learning.
Your YOU-nique YOU-ness.
You can control all those things.
And that’s good news.
Because it means that you get to dictate your outcomes to the best degree you can.
Of course, there will always be ups and downs in income because that is the nature of the beast.
But the minute you put the responsibility of your outcomes on other people, the industry, the platform, the day of the week or whatever.
Then you’re already fighting an uphill battle.
Focus on improving yourself and what you are capable of.
Focus on your attitude and your mindset and your self-belief.
Focus on learning all there is to know about this industry.
Focus on helping others. Buyers and sellers.
Start there. And then it doesn’t matter if it’s rain or shine, you’re still over here doing you and that’s all you can ever do.
