On my Instagram page story this morning (are you following me? @thepantysellingpodcast) I shared a really good example of a seller who had taken the time to create an advert around getting inside the customer’s head.
Now, I know what some of you are thinking…
“WHY would I EVEN WANT TO get INSIDE the head of my customers?”
Many of you possibly wouldn’t.
But here’s the snag.
If you take the time to get to know your customers – repeat or otherwise – and find out what their fears and concerns are, what their desires and motivations are, what encourages them to buy or not, THEN you have solid gold awaiting the form of sales.
Because with THAT information you can formulate your sales strategies. You can formulate and create your adverts that speak to THOSE pain points.
So in the example I posted, the seller honed in on new buyers being apprehensive about being scammed. And she called it out in order to speak to them directly.
Those buyers, the ones who are concerned or worried about being scammed will think to themself – subconsciously or otherwise – that this seller KNOWS me. She KNOWS what I need. SHE IS THE ONE TO BUY FROM.
It’s fucking genius.
Now, that said, it’s not always easy to get inside the head of your buyer. In fact, it can be downright impossible.
But if you take the time to talk to potential customers and actual customers, you can glean a lot of information that will help you make more sales.
BE INTERESTED!
And I say this as a seller who up until recently wasn’t that interested. Even though I knew the power of this stuff.
For that reason, I’m looking for buyers to interview. Genuine buyers who can speak honestly about what they look for when it comes to panty buying and I’m going to share it here on the site.
