Should You Tell Customers You Are Married?

This question came up in my group for online panty sellers Sellers Before Fellas…

“Married ladies, do you put your married on your profile/bio on any platforms? Or leave it out?”

This is a great question and something I wanted to talk about.

I’ve mentioned before on The Panty Selling Podcast that it’s up to you what information you decide to share and each will come with its own pitfalls and pros.

When I first became an online panty seller, I called myself a MILF so the implication was that I’m married or at least partnered. Now, it is possible to be a MILF without being married so it’s not necessarily a 100% admission that you have a partner, but it’s certainly more likely.

I decided to drop the MILF from my descriptions for personal reasons.

I then had as my profile description that I was a married woman. I talked on the podcast about not wanting to deny the existence of my husband and this was a personal decision for me. That said, I know for a fact that I’ve lost business when it’s come to light that I’m not ‘available’.

Like it or not, some guys like to think that you are available and single and will be put off if you say you have a partner.

With that in mind, I think it’s up to you but leaving it out of your profile might open you up to more sales.

Don’t get me wrong, a lot of men don’t mind at all. Some even like it if they think your partner doesn’t know what you do…

For me personally, I prefer to be honest. If I’m asked, I’m not going to lie and I respect the decision of a buyer if he’d rather not purchase from a married or partnered woman.

Further, it puts some guys off because they don’t want the remotest chance of their being a scent of another guy on your knickers.

Again, if I’ve been asked not to engage in conjugal activities prior to a wear then I’ve done that out of a courtesy to my customer. You might not want to do that. Your business, your rules.

If you happen to sell digital content and advertise that then it might be obvious to prospective buyers what your situation is if you have a lot of ‘couple’ content.

Again, this is an area where there’s a lot of money to be made in this area so it’s helpful to have a partner.

There are also sales to be made with male items being requested – you know what I’m referring to here.

Ultimately, it’s up to you what you choose to divulge. If you don’t want to give personal information that includes your current status, then don’t.

If it costs a sale then so be it.
