How long have you been selling used panties for?
I sorta had a false start when I started selling used panties – I started up in November 2017, but didn’t get serious about selling until August 2018 because it felt like I needed to commit to it or stop paying the fees. 😉
How did you find out about it?
Like a lot of ladies, I was googling how to make some extra cash when I read a post about the panty selling hustle. Since I’d compliments on my scent previously, it seemed like something I should at least check out, right?
Where do you sell?
I sell primarily on PantyDeal and Scented Pansy, but also have an account on ManyVids. You can get a whole new audience by checking out different platforms, but these are the ones that have a higher volume of traffic and converted buyers for me.
How many hours per day do you spend selling?
Too many! It’s almost addictive to post on overview and get those views for PantyDeal, so I spend too much time trying to get traffic. I’d say I’m on for at least half the day on and off.
Why did you decide to sell panties online?
There’s something empowering about taking a bit of yourself and putting it up for grabs. I think I grew to become more confident in knowing that there were customers out there that truly desired me and wanted to invest in me. It made all the difference when I decided to commit to *really* selling online.
Do you sell additional items or just panties?
I’d been fielding quite a few random requests via the platforms that I just started creating content to fulfil them. Eventually it came to my post popular items being custom taboo videos.
What do you enjoy about panty selling?
Most buyers are just relieved someone wants to fulfil them and make them feel not weird for a little bit. Creating a trusting relationship with a buyer and being able to make their dreams a reality is such a great feeling. I’m totally addicted to it.
What is challenging or difficult about panty selling?
There will be days where I think of my family finding out what I do. There are days where every would-be buyer is a time-waster. There are days where I’m sure all the other girls are better than I am. But it’s all in my head for now. I will overcome with a little help from my friends in a panty selling Kik group or talking it out with my partner. Most challenges can be overcome with the right amount of passion.
What’s your advice to someone just starting out?
I get a lot of emails from new sellers asking for my best tips and I’ve gotta be honest, I don’t know what they see in me! I tell them to show up ready to sell, research how to panty sell (I googled it and FAQ posts from different platforms and Reddit were a lifesaver) and listen to the Panty Selling Podcast because of all the tips and tricks. There’s more info out there than we know what to do with. But you can always try to find some fellow sellers to create a sense of community with and support each other.
What, in your opinion, does it take to be a successful panty seller?
Successful panty sellers know who their buyers are, market their goods with their ideal buyer in mind and commit to showing up to do some work. When you’re consistent with your branding (i.e. all your photos are well shot and your graphics get the point across) and show up, people notice you. Reach out to those around you – create movement toward what your goals are and you’ll be surprised where you end up!
How much (on average) do you/have you made per week/month?
Ever since I started taking my panty selling seriously, I make around $500-$750 a month all platforms combined. I usually do better on months I’m constantly creating new content, but sales from return customers usually help flush those lean months out. So, I try to treat them very well.
Do your friends/family know about what you do?
My partner knows what I do and has been very helpful as he used to be a buyer! I often ask him opinion on possible content or a buyer who I’m unsure about. He’s been a great sounding board for my pervy ideas and I think it’s because he’s been in the customer’s position before. It’s gotten me some great feedback from customers just cos I’d used some of his insight when filming.
How long do you think you will do this for?
I’m not sure how much longer I will do this for. I’m starting to find that I put up with less crap because there are days I can be quite cynical (thanks, time-wasters!), but there are most days where I enjoy my work more than I thought I would. The feedback and validation from my regulars can become addicting. I’m not sure if I’ll be able to leave it behind. But I think we all dream of a day we can just work with our favorite people and do it for fun.
