As used panty sellers we all want to get reviews. There is a fine line trying to decide how we will obtain them. I know that I want reviews, honestly I do. However, I’m not willing to give out my services in exchange to get one.
I honestly don’t know how to get all of the feelings that I have around the subject of exchanging service for reviews. I know some may see it as they are paying even if no money is exchanged. Honestly I don’t agree with this way of thinking. I’m not saying people can’t do what that want. I’m saying it is not how I want to conduct my business.
If I’m in business to make money it works better for me to have the exchange to be with money not reviews. I like getting reviews. However, I like knowing that those who work with me actually want to pay for what I have to offer. If they can’t or won’t do that then I will not take a review otherwise.
The repercussions of doing so will put more power in the other persons hands. It will also cause you to banned from selling platforms if it is found out that is how you get reviews. It is already hard enough getting reviews from real buyers. Why risk it with someone who has not really bought from you?
Imagine them getting upset when you do not want to trade for reviews anymore. Are you okay with the fact that they could share that information with others?
How will you be trusted even though what took place is not “wrong “ in and of itself?
Yet, some will view it that way. You have to decide if that is something you are willing to deal with. If not, then do not trade services for reviews. Trading services for reviews makes it hard to truly gauge the customer service that is given to buyers.
Despite reviews not being the be all tell all, it must be understood that many people base their buying on the reviews they see. Let your reviews be honest reviews. Try not to beat the system. The system is a customer actually having a purchase from you in the exchange of money.
Remember, whatever you decide to do is strictly up to you. I’m only here to give you a different vantage point. I want you to succeed in all that you do. So get out there and grab the bull by the horns!!
You’ve got this!!
Until next time…

I couldn’t agree more and for good reason. I think there may be other situations where trade is appropriate but definitely not where future customers’ trust is concerned. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and expertise!!
