So the short version of this blog post on what panty sellers should give away for free is…
NOTHING.
GIVE NOTHING AWAY FOR FREE EVER!!
But that’s actually not very realistic nor profitable.
I know, hear me out.
So this came up in my group today:
“I want to post my socks but don’t want to give things away for free in terms of my advert pictures. I understand not to show the sole, but what is ok to show?”
Here’s the thing:
If you want to make an omelette, you’re gonna have to break some eggs.
If you want to sell, you’re going to have to give SOMETHING away for free.
You’re not going to be able to get very far showing nothing.
The trick is to find balance. A balance that you’re comfortable with and that is going to entice your customer enough to make them want to buy from you.
Imagine if you clicked on to pornhub and all the video stills were of full clothed people sat at a table having a cup of tea because WE’RE NOT GIVING IT AWAY FOR FREE YA KNOW! And yes, I know the majority of porn on pornhub is free as in you don’t have to pay for it but actually it’s not free because the guy viewing that page is money to advertisers. THEY WANT THE GUY ON THAT PAGE TO ADVERTISE TO HIM.
But you get my point.
There has to be some give and take with regards to what you show on your adverts.
So for me, I always recommend that your adverts include pictures of you.
They don’t have to be nude.
They don’t have to be full vag.
But the DO need you on them
You wearing the panties is 7,652,865 times better than you laying them out on your Target bedspread, dig?
Now let’s talk feet fetish pics…
Because I’ve seen this a lot.
“Don’t let them see a picture of your feet or they’ll get off on them!!”
And that’s true.
It’s also the reason why people will blur out parts of their feet or watermark over them to entice the buyer to pay if they want to see more.
And that’s good and legitimate – I’m not knocking that.
But also, we need to realise that in this work, GUYS ARE GOING TO JERK OFF TO YOUR PICS FOR FREE!
Guys will come on to (pun) platforms purely to jerk off and pay nothing.
Honestly, if there was a way for women to be reimbursed financially for all the guys who ever jerked off to a pic of them on their social media, I reckon we’d have a lot of rich women out there.
But my point is that we accept that that is the case, we minimise the potential for that by keeping our XXX rated content as paid for and we do our best with the rest to give them enough to want to see more and pay more without coming from a place that says “I can’t share this as it’s giving it away for free”
Every seller has their own comfort level when it comes to what they want to share.
Some of us show face and some of us don’t.
I’m just inviting you to recognise that if you want guys to buy, they need to see ‘enough’ to be turned on.
Legit, you’re going to have to sexually excite them or interest them for them to want to pay.
If you went into a clothes shop and they wouldn’t let you try things on because you should just KNOW you want to buy, you’d likely not shop there.
When you go to the supermarket and see the people offering out free samples, they’re not telling you you have to pay first, right? They know and the trust that you’ll like the product enough to want to buy it afterwards.
So that’s the balance you need to find for yourself.
I’m not here to tell you what’s right or wrong, I’m simply saying that you will have to give them something to go on.
Throw them a frickin’ bone, yeah?
